Help me build a local network?

Hi. I have 5 computers, each with windows Xp. A bought a Dell Server with windows nt/2003. I build a webpage with Mysql and PHP. I installed Xampp in the computer i build the webpage. All computers are connected by a 3com switch. I want to install the webpage in the dell server, so this computers just type a name (or number) in their explorers and access the web page. (just like the internet, but in our own local network) What do i have to do? Can you explain me about DNS, DCHP, and IP adress. What is missing in the XAMPP so it works? What folders and files should i share? What firewall settings should each computer have? thankyou very much.

You will need to read up on DHCP, DNS and web servers. It would take a month to describe all the configurations required.
