What other skills should I know before I apply for the Data Analyst position?

demo 22 Dec 2008 03:59pm Do you know how to analyze data? or just how to process it in software (like the ones you just listed)? Can you write scripts in any programming languages to find max/mins, smooth data, fit data to curves, etc? |

demo 23 Dec 2008 06:14am You should be able to analyze queries with an eye towards tuning efficiency; know how to define procedures, triggers and other such database objects; and easily translate end-user requests for information into table queries. |
