How can I make flashget download the correct file and not a small .php file?

I use Flashget and Flashgot to download files. But sometimes when I download a file, all that gets downloaded is a small .php file instead of the file that I am looking for. How can I configure my download manager to get the right file and not stop at the php redirect?
