Boy + Girl Name? [Opinions/Ideas]?

demo 19 Dec 2008 02:29pm I am thinking Vivienne for the girl. This is the only spelling of the name I truly love, but I really, really hate that it is common! For me it evokes images of design, beauty, creativity, edgy, but still elegant and flowing. It makes me think Vivienne Westwood, in many ways. A nickname could be Viven, if any at all. For the boy, I love the name Ajax. It is a classical name, simple, but different, with a heroic standard about it. I also love names with uncommon letters in them (V, X, etc.) and I figure he can be nicknamed 'Jax'. Yes it is a type of cleaner, but so what? It is a strong, daring name, with creative flare, if you ask me. Any opinions, or ideas on the betterment of them? If anyone has any ideas for middle names, they would also be much appreciated. |

demo 19 Dec 2008 02:37pm Vivienne is adorable. If you like nicknames, Vivie sounds cute also. As for Ajax... kids have a pretty hard time in school in general. I would be thinking of his junior high years and all the harshness that he's going to get from that name. Now Jax on the other hand, creative, strong, and related to something from the past that brought kids JOY. :) I think that's better than a cleaner. |

demo 19 Dec 2008 02:47pm You're dooming the kid if you name him Ajax. It would make a great name for the other kids to harrass him. I know someone who named their kid Orange Ann. Their last name was White. Orange Ann White. The school colors for the University of Tennessee. And the kid was tortured unmercifully. Jax is better. Ajax is horrible. I can see a kid tell little Ajax, "I'm going to clean up the floor with you". Pow. |

demo 19 Dec 2008 03:21pm I think the name Vivienne is great! I dont think it is very common so I wouldnt worry about it I have never meet a Vivienne! A nickname could be Vivy (Viv-ee)! I dontt know if I really like or dislike the name Ajax, it is okay I guess. hope this helps:D |
